PHLIPPINES - A great victory was untold for the Nanolabs team as they once again landed to the 2nd spot in the 2020 ClimateLaunchpad Regional Finals for South East Asia and Oceania contenders. The company alongside gained ticket to qualify for Grand Global Finals 2020 and obtained a spot in the Climate-KIC Accelarator programme for placing on top.


Just this September 18, 2020, Nanolabs LRC Co. Ltd. stands as a trailblazing team as they grab triumph in the 2020 ClimateLaunchpad Regional Finals. Finding their edge to the other  20 participating teams across Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Vietnam, the Ph delegate secured the 2nd spot in the regional finals.


A tough choice was issued for the jury’s part as they dwell-off the winners of the regional finals. Each finalist battles their start-up ideas aligning with the series of judging criterium. The jury’s choice of winners is based on the market potential, social impact, innovation, climate impact, the strength of the management team, and the quality of the pitch presented by the finalist.


The thorough pitch and well-versed answers make the key for a big win of the team. Their comprehensive “Rechargeable zinc-ion battery” entry puts them at the top of their competitor’s start-up ideas. The propose start-up of the team greatly forges ahead.

Winners are also announced remotely via the online meet-up of the judges and participants. Top-9 winners for the regional level advances to the Global Grand Finals 2020 of the ClimateLaunchpad, where they will be competing with start-ups from Europe’s and America’s. All global grand finalists get to have a spot in the Climate KIC- Accelerator programme, the largest acceleration program in climate impact. 


Global Grand Finals 2020 will happen on September 30 and October 1-2, 2020. The Ph delegate is now preparing for the final stage of the competition. Tension for the most unique and innovative start-ups are constantly rising. The Global Grand Winner 2020 remains underway until the date of the final day.
